Paolo Bianchi, batterista milanese classe 1963, è uno di quei musicisti che la storia della musica italiana l'hanno vissuta dal palco. In carriera ha registrato dischi e affrontato tournée al fianco di artisti come Umberto Tozzi, Ron — negli anni del celebre “Non abbiamo bisogno di parole” — Biagio Antonacci, Fausto Leali e Mia Martini, passando per “Non amarmi” di Aleandro Baldi e Francesca Alotta e per i grandi palazzetti con l'orchestra di Demo Morselli.
A metà anni '90 è sul palco della prima trasmissione televisiva di Fiorello, “Non dimenticate lo spazzolino da denti”, e nello stesso decennio colleziona presenze nei più importanti eventi live italiani: il concerto di Tozzi al Forum, la data di Toronto, i tour di Antonacci e sette-otto edizioni del Festivalbar.
A tutto questo si aggiunge un'attività live sterminata: migliaia di concerti tra tournée e club con le più note cover band del Nord Italia, fino a superare le duecento serate l'anno. Oggi, dopo una vita on the road, ha scelto la dimensione dello studio: registra le sue batterie per le produzioni Rey Production, portando in ogni traccia oltre trent'anni di groove e mestiere.
Paolo Bianchi, a Milan-born drummer (class of 1963), is one of those musicians who lived the history of Italian music from the stage. Over his career he has recorded and toured alongside artists such as Umberto Tozzi, Ron — in the years of the famous “Non abbiamo bisogno di parole” — Biagio Antonacci, Fausto Leali and Mia Martini, along with “Non amarmi” by Aleandro Baldi and Francesca Alotta and arena shows with Demo Morselli's orchestra.
In the mid-'90s he was on stage for Fiorello's first TV show, “Non dimenticate lo spazzolino da denti”, and throughout that decade he appeared at Italy's biggest live events: Tozzi's concert at the Forum, the Toronto date, Antonacci's tours and seven or eight editions of the Festivalbar.
Add to that a staggering live career: thousands of shows between tours and clubs with northern Italy's best-known cover bands, at a pace of over two hundred gigs a year. Today, after a life on the road, he has chosen the studio dimension: he records drums for Rey Production, bringing over thirty years of groove and craft to every track.
